Count people entering through a doorway or passage using ToF sensing over WiFi
The FCFI is a wall-mounted people counter that uses Time-of-Flight (ToF) laser sensing to count individuals passing through an entrance or passageway. ToF measures the precise distance to each person using reflected light pulses — accurate regardless of clothing colour, ambient light level, or walking speed. Count data is reported in real time to a cloud dashboard over WiFi, with full API access for third-party integration.
ToF sensing detects the exact moment a person breaks the beam path by measuring distance — not light intensity or heat signatures. It is unaffected by changing ambient light, dark clothing, or multiple people in close proximity. The result is consistent counting accuracy across the full range of real-world entrance conditions.
Mounts on the wall beside or above the entrance. The sensor beam spans doorways up to approximately 3 feet wide. No floor sensor, no ceiling mount, no cabling across the threshold required. Setup is done through a mobile hotspot provisioning flow — no IT configuration needed on-site.
