Prepaid Energy Meter with Internal CT — Modbus RS485, Single and Three Phase

The SEMSPMIP is a prepaid energy meter with a built-in 25A current transformer and Modbus RS485 RTU output. Compact, self-contained, and ready to deploy — no external CT to mount or wire. Credit-based relay cutoff enforces prepaid metering automatically. Available in single phase and three phase, with Modbus-only, Modbus + WiFi, or Modbus + WiFi + LoRa connectivity.

How Prepaid Metering Works

The meter tracks cumulative energy consumption per tenant or load. When the prepaid credit balance reaches zero, the built-in relay cuts supply. Credit is topped up through the management platform — app, cloud portal, or token issued by the administrator. No unpaid bills, no manual disconnection visits.

Internal CT — Compact and Clean

The 25A current transformer is built into the meter body. The live conductor passes directly through it — no separate CT clamp to mount, no secondary wiring. Suitable for loads up to 25A: residential flats, small shops, small office units, and light commercial loads. For loads above 25A, use the SEMSPMEP with external CT.
