The MOFI5A65 is the outdoor-rated version of the MOFI5A WiFi Modbus bridge. Same function — connect any Modbus RS485 device to WiFi and cloud — but housed in an IP65 enclosure for field, rooftop, substation, and industrial outdoor deployment.

When to Choose MOFI5A65 over MOFI5A

If the Modbus device is indoors in a panel room, the standard MOFI5A is sufficient. If it is outdoors — on a rooftop, in a substation, at a pump station, or in a roadside cabinet — the MOFI5A65 is the right choice. The IP65 enclosure protects the electronics against dust ingress and water jets.
