Outdoor PM2.5 and PM10 Air Quality Monitoring Station — WiFi and GPRS
The PM25102G is an outdoor air quality monitoring station that measures PM2.5 and PM10 particulate matter using laser particle counting. Dual connectivity — WiFi and 2G GPRS — ensures data reaches your platform from any outdoor location, whether it has local WiFi or relies on cellular backhaul.
What It Measures
- PM2.5 — fine particles under 2.5 microns; the primary health concern from vehicular exhaust, industrial emissions, and biomass burning. WHO and CPCB standards are defined around PM2.5 limits.
- PM10 — coarser particles under 10 microns; dust, pollen, construction debris. High PM10 indicates dust pollution and is a respiratory health concern.
Use Cases
- Smart city air quality networks — distributed outdoor monitoring stations across a city or zone for AQI mapping
- Industrial fence-line monitoring — factories, mines, and construction sites monitoring particulate emissions at the boundary
- Traffic and roadside monitoring — measure vehicular pollution at intersections, highways, and bus depots
- Construction site compliance — monitor dust levels during demolition and construction to comply with local pollution control norms
- Schools and hospitals — outdoor ambient air quality near sensitive locations
Dual Connectivity
WiFi for stations near buildings with network access. 2G GPRS for remote roadside, industrial fence-line, or rural deployments where running WiFi is impractical. Both are available in the same unit — configure based on site conditions.
