LoRaWAN Pulse Sensor for Water Meters — Wireless AMR for Pulse Output Meters
The IN4PULSELW is a LoRaWAN sensor that connects to any pulse-output water meter and transmits the count wirelessly to your cloud platform. No manual meter reading. No wiring back to the control room. Automated meter reading (AMR) over LoRaWAN IN865–868 MHz.
How It Works
Most mechanical water meters have a pulse output — one pulse per litre or per 10 litres depending on the meter. The IN4PULSELW counts these pulses and transmits the total over LoRaWAN at configurable intervals. Your platform converts pulse count to volume.
Use Cases
- Apartment and housing complexes — individual flat water metering without running wires to each meter
- Commercial buildings — automated sub-metering for common areas, cooling towers, irrigation
- Municipal water distribution — zone-level flow monitoring on distribution networks
- Industrial plants — process water consumption monitoring at individual machinery or process points
