LoRa Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensor — Indoor
The MI2LWTH is a long-range wireless temperature and humidity sensor that transmits readings over LoRa radio to a local gateway. No Wi-Fi. No cellular SIM. Just a battery-powered sensor that sends data across a building or campus to your LOFI or GLCRTU4G gateway — and from there to your dashboard.
Why LoRa for Indoor Monitoring?
Wi-Fi sensors need to be within range of a router. The MI2LWTH uses LoRa — a sub-GHz radio that penetrates walls, floors, and building structures far better than Wi-Fi. One LOFI gateway can cover an entire building. Deploy sensors in server rooms, cold storage, warehouse bays, and plant rooms — all feeding a single gateway without Wi-Fi infrastructure changes.
Use Cases
- Server rooms and data centres — monitor temperature and humidity at rack level; alert before cooling failure causes downtime
- Cold storage and food warehouses — continuous temperature logging for compliance and spoilage prevention
- Pharmaceutical storage — maintain audit trail of storage conditions for regulatory requirements
- Factory and warehouse floors — ambient monitoring across large spaces without Wi-Fi coverage
- Commercial buildings — multi-zone temperature and humidity monitoring for HVAC optimisation
Compatible Gateways
- LOFI — LoRa WiFi gateway: sensor data delivered to cloud over existing Wi-Fi
- GLCRTU4G — LoRa 4G gateway: cloud connectivity anywhere, no local network needed
