About the Role

Ahoy Systems designs and builds white-label IoT devices for brands across India and beyond. We are looking for an embedded engineer to help take connected products from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

Develop and debug firmware for microcontroller-based IoT devices (ESP32, STM32, nRF or similar) in C/C++
Integrate connectivity: Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, GSM/NB-IoT, and MQTT or HTTP to cloud platforms
Work with sensors, relays and power-management circuits; support hardware bring-up and testing
Build OTA update, provisioning and device-security features
Work with product and web teams so devices connect smoothly to dashboards and apps
Support customer-specific (white-label) customisations and production testing

Required Qualifications / Skills

2-5 years of embedded firmware experience
B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science or a related field
Strong C/C++; familiarity with FreeRTOS or similar
Hands-on experience with UART, I2C, SPI, ADC and wireless protocols
Comfortable using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and debuggers
Nice to have: PCB design exposure, Python, cloud IoT platforms, energy or smart-lighting experience

On-site, Gurugram. Small, fast-moving team working on shipping products.
