12V DC UPS with Li-ion battery and DIN rail mount for IoT gateways and field devices

12V DC Power Backup for IoT

SKU: CHARLI12V

12V DC UPS with Li-ion battery and DIN rail mount for IoT gateways and field devices

12V DC UPS — Battery Backup for IoT Devices and Edge Hardware

The CHARLI12V is a 12V DC UPS that keeps your IoT gateways, routers, modems, RTUs, and 12V-powered field devices running through a power cut. Lithium-ion battery inside. Charges from mains while powering the load — switches seamlessly to battery on failure with no interruption to the connected device.

What It Powers

Any device running on 12V DC — which covers a wide range of IoT and networking hardware:

  • WiFi routers and 4G modems
  • LoRa gateways and IoT RTUs
  • IP cameras and NVRs
  • Industrial sensors and Modbus devices
  • Streetlight controllers and feeder pillar equipment
  • Access control panels and alarm communicators

Why a Dedicated IoT UPS?

Consumer power banks auto-shut off when current draw drops below their detection threshold — a problem for always-on IoT equipment drawing low steady current. The CHARLI12V is designed for continuous, unattended operation with no auto-shutoff, no charge cycles optimised for phones, and seamless switchover that never reboots the connected device.

DIN Rail Mount

Standard DIN rail mounting — installs cleanly inside feeder pillars, control panels, switchboards, and enclosures alongside other DIN rail equipment. No external mounting bracket required.

Use Cases

  • Remote IoT gateways — keep LoRa, WiFi, or 4G gateways alive through grid outages
  • Streetlight controller panels — backup power for RTUs inside feeder pillars
  • Security and surveillance — uninterrupted power for IP cameras and alarm communicators
  • Industrial monitoring — RTUs and data loggers that must maintain continuous uptime
  • Telecom and networking — routers and 4G modems at unmanned remote sites
